James 5:16 admonishes us:
“Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another,
that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.”

Feel free to submit as many prayer requests as you like! I have a husband struggling with alcoholism and is just finding his way back to God but he is struggling. This is affecting our marriage, family, and especially our child. We are standing in support of him but the devil is all over him but we’re fighting as a family. I can see that he wants to stop but over and over he breaks and is unable to quit. I am trying to give grace and be understanding but I’m growing weary. I need prayer because I’m tired and am trying not to give up. He needs prayer for strength to change his own life. Our child needs prayer for understanding that none of this is their fault and that they are loved and supported in their feelings. Today Jill, Greg (Jill’s husband) & I said goodbye to Sam @ 2:37pm. Sam lost her battle today to COVID but God chose to completely heal her on Heaven side. She is rejoicing with the Savior and finally breathing easy. Though not the outcome we wanted, we are comforted that Jesus’ has her in His arms and we will see her again when it’s our time to go home. Not goodbye but Until then Sam!! Love you so much and I so truly miss you.
Thank you for all the prayers for Sam & myself. Continue to pray for peace for myself & family. ️ I have just learned that I will be without a job in 6 weeks or less. I have applied to numerous other positions. I need prayers that one of those positions come through before I have to leave my current position. I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis a few years ago. What I never imagined was the life and reality that came with this diagnosis. Shortly after my diagnosis, I began having severe pain. I have received numerous injections in my spine, elbows, hands, and hip joints. During this season of life, God has blessed us with our 5th child. While child number 4 is 16, number 5 is now 17 months. I am pending Disability now since Feb of 2020. I am unable to work consistently and this has become a tremendous source of Shame for me. I was raised to work hard and always have until now. The fact that I just can not bothers me. I continue to pray and trust that God has a bigger plan. I am seeing a new Rheumatologist and she is going to devise a new medical plan to help relieve some pain. Today’s message on Shame hit me right where it needed to. I want to thank Jason and the entire staff that allows God to direct them to speak to our hearts. Please keep my family and I in your prayers as we navigate this season. Please pray that Shame will no longer be my Identity. HEALING>SHAME! I have had a problem with reflux the past few weeks. Please pray for healing. Please pray for Sam Morrison. I have a week for things to turn around before any other decisions will be made. We need her a Miracle. Pray hard everyone!!
Thank you Lew Jill (Sam’s daughter) & I visited Sam today(1-30-22) & she did not have a good day. Please continue to pray for Sam. I appreciate all the prayers that have been raised & those to come. Thank you church. Irelynn- has been struggling with her shunt and hospitalized at Scottish for weeks with multiple procedures. Dear Lord, please give the doctors the wisdom to take the best path for her and Monday’s surgery to be the last surgery.

Teachers that are in need of prayers for healing and strength. My mother in law has stage 4 lung cancer and has been told that chemo treatments will only help extend her life some. The treatments are making her very sick and she is considering coming off of them. Without the treatments they gave her not more than 6 months. My father in law died 4 1/2 years ago from this same illness so the family knows what lies ahead. Please pray for her and the family as we go through this horrible experience a second time. Please pray for the salvation of those in the Barrow county jail.Anonymous
