Please pray for my mama. Her name is Patty Harrison and she is 81 years old.

She has advanced stage Dementia. I have been taking care of her at home up until a little over 2 weeks ago when we had to take her to the hospital because she complained about being in pain in her groin area. Since then she has stopped walking and stopped eating on her own. We had to make the hard decision to put her in a nursing home and the Dr has told us she has 6 months or less to live. It is a very difficult time right now for us and it is heartbreaking seeing her in the condition she is in.

Asking for prayers for friends of my family back in WV. This family has a dad who is 83 years old and is battling cancer again. He’s going to have surgery on May 24th to hopefully remove it but his family is very worried that he won’t make it this time. He’s got a feeding tube and is still weak. He has an adult daughter who is having medical issues and another one who is still a drug addict. He also has a grandson who’s graduating highschool and other grandchildren who are dealing with emotional and mental trauma.

Please pray for my good friend Jeff. He in the hospital and surgery is scheduled for Tuesday. I don’t think jeff knows Jesus. Hopefully we can talk about it soon. He’s on a ventilator right now..also pray for his wife and family.

My father (87 in July) has cancer. He has been fighting it for a couple years now. It started as melanoma on his neck. It was removed. Then it, melanoma, showed up in his lungs. Then in his brain. Now on his spine. My dad grew up hard. He persevered and stayed strong in the faith. All but one of his siblings has died from some form of cancer. Of course I’m asking for healing. However I also don’t want him to suffer. My mom has been by his side through it all. She is holding strong but is weary. She hides it well. I have two siblings. We have begun to have the end of life preparation conversations. We’ve never been here before. I say all this to ask for strength and wisdom in the next weeks, months, years. Guidance for the medical staff. He continues to have various treatments. He is getting weaker. They are taking their toll on him. Thank you for your time and prayers for healing, wisdom, mercy, and strength.
